Description
Wormwood (Artemisia Absinthium) is derived from the Wormwood Shrub and grows up to 3 ft. tall in Eurpose, Asia, Africa and the United States. in more temperate zones. Wormwood has been used traditionally to expel worms and parasites, soothe the digestive system, and improve overall immune function. The active bitter compounds (absithin and anabsinthin) help improve digestive system processes and nourish the organs for more efficient operation. This is the highest quality Wormwood Extract (4:1 Concentrate) available on the market in raw, powder form. This ingredient may be added to foods and beverages or smoothies and green drinks. It is a tannish-brown powder and has no fillers or binders, additives or preservatives. PFL Non-GMO Pesticide Free powder extracts are not ETO Treated or Gamma Irradiated. Some typically gummy, oily or damp extracts require an anti-caking agent to maintain its powder form. Non-GMO and/or Organic Tapioca maltodextrins are typically used, in as small amounts as possible. I was dairy free for a long time. I live in nyc and wanted something Organic quick to add to add coffee tea and cereals that has a long shelf life and wasn’t a nut or coconut product.and not low fat ( my mom used to use “alba” and I just can’t.... I would like to look into more of the processing and could speak more to that at a later date - but over all - loving it
