It increases the pH of my very acidic water. I use this with a pinch of sodium bicarb and sea salt to increase the pH of my R/O drinking water and add back minerals.

I was advised by my endocrinologist to add Potassium Bicarbonate to my daily protocol. I was happy to learn that it alkalizes water as well as it helps me manage my BP so I don't have to use Rx meds.
And it's good to patronize a TX company (I'm in Austin, TX), so I will take a closer look at Prescribed for Life's other products.

I was dairy free for a long time. I live in nyc and wanted something Organic quick to add to add coffee tea and cereals that has a long shelf life and wasn’t a nut or coconut product.and not low fat ( my mom used to use “alba” and I just can’t.... I would like to look into more of the processing and could speak more to that at a later date - but over all - loving it
