Pure dehydrated lemon juice powder is naturally spray dried and extracted from real lemons. Our lemon juice powder is 100% natural and never sweetened with sugar or corn syrup. It is an excellent source of Vitamin C, which helps the body naturally cleanse itself, and may also be beneficial in assisting with the elimination of fluids. In addition to its many health benefits, lemon juice powder is a great substitute for lemon juice in many recipes. PFL Non-GMO Pesticide Free powder extracts are not ETO Treated or Gamma Irradiated. Some typically gummy, oily or damp extracts require an anti-caking agent to maintain its powder form. Non-GMO and/or Organic Tapioca maltodextrins are typically used, in as small amounts as possible. NOTE: Liquid ingredients can ONLY be converted into a powder by the use of a "Drying Carrier Agent." If the drying carrier agent is not used, the liquid ingredient will either remain a liquid or become re-liquefied when exposed to the moisture in the air, immediately after opening the package. Therefore, it is ABSOLUTELY necessary to use a carrier to keep a liquid ingredient in a Free-Flowing Dry Powder condition. There is NO such thing as a liquid that has become a dry and a free flowing powder that does not contain a drying/carrier agent.

The most common drying/carrier agent is Silicon Dioxide, which is synthetic. We do NOT add this ingredient to any of our products. We only use Non-GMO and/or Organic maltodextrin, which is derived from either Non-GMO or Organic Corn Starch and is Gluten Free. It is a very low calorie, high energy, natural complex carbohydrate that contains less than 20% of sugar. It is virtually tasteless and considered to be one of the safest and healthiest drying/carrier food and beverage options available.
