Description
Lemon Balm Leaf 4:1 Extract Powder (Melissa Officinalis) has a sweet, delicate flavor and is related to the mint family. This versatile herb may be used on savory or sweet dishes to create a light refreshing tone. Lemon Balm also carries antioxidant properties and may assist with insomnia and anxiety symptoms as well. This ingredient may be also added to foods and beverages or smoothies and green drinks. It is an orange-brown powder. PFL Non-GMO Pesticide Free powder extracts are not ETO Treated or Gamma Irradiated. Some typically gummy, oily or damp extracts require an anti-caking agent to maintain its powder form. Non-GMO and/or Organic Tapioca maltodextrins are typically used, in as small amounts as possible. If used, PFL will list it on our label. I was dairy free for a long time. I live in nyc and wanted something Organic quick to add to add coffee tea and cereals that has a long shelf life and wasn’t a nut or coconut product.and not low fat ( my mom used to use “alba” and I just can’t.... I would like to look into more of the processing and could speak more to that at a later date - but over all - loving it
