Coal-Conut is the finest 100% Natural Food Grade Coconut Shell Activated Charcoal available anywhere. This coarse granular charcoal is designed for water filtration and purification, removal of odors, and various household and commercial applications (not intended for internal use). Activated charcoal is normal charcoal that has been heated in the presence of steam so as to increase its adsorptive properties, creating pores which can help remove chemicals. It has a wide range of uses, including odor control, air and vapor filtration, water purification, soil remediation, precious metal recovery, as well as health and beauty products, making it one of the most incredibly versatile products you'll ever encounter.
Activated charcoal works through the principle mechanism of Adsorption* (not to be confused with absorption). It acts by electrostatically binding molecules to the surfaces of the charcoal particle.
One teaspoon of activated charcoal (about 3.3gms) has about the same surface area as a football field. This expansive surface area translates into a tremendous potential to adsorb* large amounts of gases, toxins, poisons, or pollutants.

I am Just staring up a bean to bar chocolate biz and am testing recipes. This week I made some white chocolate using this milk powder. It worked fabulous in my recipe and the chocolate tastes very creamy, like warmed milk.
I was dairy free for a long time. I live in nyc and wanted something Organic quick to add to add coffee tea and cereals that has a long shelf life and wasn’t a nut or coconut product.and not low fat ( my mom used to use “alba” and I just can’t.... I would like to look into more of the processing and could speak more to that at a later date - but over all - loving it
