Buckthorn Bark herb (4:1 concentration) is commonly used as a laxative to treat chronic and acute constipation that has no harsh side effects like most over-the-counter laxatives. Buckthorn is also used for organ health, intestinal health, as well as combating infections or similar dysfunctions. This ingredient may be added to foods and beverages or smoothies and green drinks. It is a yellowish to brownish powder. PFL Non-GMO Pesticide Free powder extracts are not ETO Treated or Gamma Irradiated. Some typically gummy, oily or damp extracts require an anti-caking agent to maintain its powder form. Non-GMO and/or Organic Tapioca maltodextrins are typically used, in as small amounts as possible. I live in nyc and wanted something Organic quick to add to add coffee tea and cereals that has a long shelf life and wasn’t a nut or coconut product.and not low fat ( my mom used to use “alba” and I just can’t....
